Audi has unveiled a sporty version of its new Q2 compact SUV - the Edition #1.
The range-topping Q2 Edition #1 is an entirely new and individual specification joining the Q2 line-up. The Edition #1 is finished in an exclusive quantum grey paint finish, and includes black and ‘Manhattan grey’ exterior details such as the 19-inch wheels. Featuring the look of the S line trim, with sporty bumpers and sills as well as the distinctive diffuser, it also has unique ‘add-on’ parts in Manhattan grey in the lower area of the body. They emphasise the robust character of the compact SUV, says Audi.
The black blade on the C-pillar, which sports the four rings in white, and the black exterior mirror housings are further features exclusive to the special edition. The same applies to the new paint finish. Depending on how the light strikes it, the dark tone is either completely homogeneous or it ‘creates an intense play between light and shadows’, according to the German brand.
An exclusive titanium black styling package features on the Singleframe front grille and bumpers as well as the anthracite black, 19-inch wheels, with a five-arm rotor design originating from Audi Sport. Standard-fit LED headlights and rear lights – the latter with dynamic turn signals – round out the ‘technologically upscale’ look of the Audi Q2 Edition #1.
On the inside, the special edition features height-adjustable sport seats, a leather-covered multifunction sports steering wheel, leather package and illuminated aluminium door sill trims with the S emblem as standard. The seats are covered in part leather with black and amaretto; while the headlining is titanium grey.
At night, the ambient lighting package lights the interior. LED light guides backlight the trim strips on the instrument panel and on the centre console in a choice of ten colours that can be set in the Audi MMI.
The Audi Q2 Edition #1 comes with all engine variants and is available to order from September - priced from £31,170 OTR.
