BMW is extending its range of paint finishes for the i8 with an extensive array of new colours.
As part of the BMW Individual collection, customers can now choose from paint finishes including: Java Green, Speed Yellow, Solar Orange, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Grey, Frozen Black, San Marino Blue and Grigio Telesto Pearl.
A variety of finishes are available including non-metallic, metallic or Xirallic, which uses a mixture of synthetic mica or aluminium flakes to produce scintillating effects, says BMW, while the matt finish of the frozen paintwork has a ‘unique shimmer’.
The new BMW Individual paint programme for the i8 is bespoke to the UK and follows the positive response to the Protonic Red limited edition.

The new paintwork colours not only complement the BMW i8s emotive styling and design, they also work harmoniously with the BMW i brand and provide customers with exclusive personalised options.”
The hybrid i8 develops 362hp and can also cover up to 23 miles in electric only mode. It emits 49g/km of CO2 and returns combined fuel consumption of 134.5mpg.
Black W-Spoke alloy wheels are also available as part of the new i8 BMW Individual Exterior Paint Programme, which is available with immediate effect, priced from £5,495.
