Honda has teamed up with SEGA for a special "Sonic the Hedgehog" Civic - to celebrate the legendary video game character.
The one-of-a-kind Sonic Civic was unveiled at Comic-Con, the famous gaming and comic book convention in San Diego, celebrating Sonic the Hedgehog’s 25th year. The custom Sonic Civic is based on a turbocharged 2016 Civic Touring and was revealed at SEGA's sold-out Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary event.
The Sonic Civic ‘embodies the spirit’ of the classic video game, with Sonic the Hedgehog’s world featured on and throughout the modified vehicle. Special features include custom wheels and tyres representing Sonic's infamous red shoes and gold rings featured in the game while a custom exterior includes a one-of-a-kind vinyl Sonic the Hedgehog design and bespoke paint scheme – a Sonic Black Grill, BASF R-M Candy Sonic Blue painted exterior with custom Sonic Yellow including a Sonic Yellow Honda logo.
On the inside, Sonic the Hedgehog front and rear seats with Katzkin Blue Leather feature 'Sonic the Hedgehog' 25th Anniversary embroidered logos. A Rockford Fosgate audio-visual system featuring two 500-watt T1S2 10-inch subwoofers, two 500-watt TM400 400-watt amplifiers are joined by floor-mounted flip-up/down 32-inch television for video game fans to play the game while onboard.
